Judging on the title, it sounds like a corny post about my favorite tree... But it's actually not. See, I originally planned on taking these photos against a plain brick wall, but it was raining outside so I ended up under a canopy of old trees next to this one. I wasn't entirely pleased with this tree that looks like it's at least 100 years old, until an old woman rode up on the sidewalk in a golf cart. She was with her husband and son, and they were pointing at this tree with huge grins. They stopped and she looked at me and said "It's your favorite tree too?" Something about that made me smile. This old, old woman took time to come visit the beauty of nature every day~ something I wish I did a little more often. I'm hoping I can start getting into visiting nature like that too :)
This outfit is somewhat Express store-esque, which I love!! I always check out this blog http://onthedailyexpress.blogspot.com/ to get some ideas of great Express type outfits! On that topic, here's one more awesome blog to check out : http://www.morepiecesofme.com/
As if I haven't beaten it into the ground enough with the linkups... but they're so fun!!
Stay happy <3
I wanted to show one version with leopard flats!! Both could work with this outfit! |
What a funny story! We need to stop and enjoy these types of things in life more often. Love the colored jeans with the leopard heels.

DeleteRunning soo behind this week, but thanks for linking up this week! I agree, this outfit is very Express-esque. I have two very similar items from Express in my closet right now! LOL. What a sweet story about the tree, and I can definitely relate to wanting a blog about the clothes, not the girl. :) Glad to have found you and can't wait to read/see more. :) -Gina
